Terra Duncan is a Canadian poet and nonfiction writer. The Robin’s Egg is Duncan’s debut memoir.
Duncan was born in Moncton, New Brunswick. In 2002 she moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to pursue the Foundation Year Programme at the University of King’s College. In 2006 she graduated with a Combined Honours Degree in Journalism and Early Modern Studies from King’s. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from Dalhousie University in 2015.
Duncan lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia where she serves as a Student Success Advisor in the Bissett Student Success Centre at Dalhousie University. When she’s not offering degree and career advice to current and prospective students she can be found writing in the Halifax Public Library, enjoying a tea at the Trident or sampling a brew at Good Robot.
